Nothing Lethal in Nature

The Australian Government’s role in the global supply chain of F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel came under scrutiny in February. Foreign Minister Penny Wong stressed that the parts were ‘non-lethal’. The government added that the F-35 supply chain is centrally coordinated by manufacturer Lockheed Martin and the US government. According to Lockhead Martin, the F-35 – ‘the quarterback of the skies’ – is the world’s ‘most lethal’ fighter aircraft.
