In April 2023 Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and New South Wales Premier Chris Minns attended the lavish Sydney wedding of radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands and his fiancée Tegan Kynaston. A convicted drug smuggler and notorious Sydney club owner were in the bridal party, which led to media outlets questioning the PM over his acceptance of an invitation. However, despite the criticism, he still attended.
