Prime Minister Scott Morrison ended months of speculation when he called the federal election for 21 May 2022. Three years after Morrison’s ‘miracle’ win at the last election, David Rowe suggests that perhaps he was carrying a little more baggage going into the campaign than his opponent, Labor leader Anthony Albanese.
