In March, dozens of foreign ministers, energy ministers and state secretaries met virtually to discuss emissions reduction. Angus Taylor, Minister for Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction, spruiked Australia’s proposed investment in low-emissions technologies. As some of these technologies are yet to be proven effective, Moir’s cartoon reflects the views of some critics that Taylor was acting as a snake oil salesman.
