Behind the Lines

Michael Leunig

Michael Leunig is an Australian cartoonist, writer, painter, philosopher and poet. His commentary on political, cultural and emotional life spans more than 50 years. He often explores the idea of an innocent and sacred personal world and the fragile ecosystem of human nature and its relationship to the wider natural world. His newspaper work appeared regularly in The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald.

Works also displayed at Behind the Lines 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
