Matt Davidson

Melbourne-based Matt Davidson’s cartoons have appeared in The Age for more than 20 years. His editorial illustrations have won him a small swag of awards including from the Society of News Design (New York), the National Museum of Australia, Walkleys commendation and several Quill awards from the Melbourne Press Club - most recently for both Innovation and Artwork in 2023. He regularly contributes illustrations for the Saturday pages of The Sydney Morning Herald and for the opinion pages in the Sunday Age. Able to juggle numerous projects at once, it has been rumoured that he used to tumble with Circus Oz.
