The Coalition was trailing in the polls when Scott Morrison invited 60 Minutes into his family home for a behind-the-scenes profile. He served curry, and after dinner whipped out a ukelele to play Dragon’s ‘April Sun in Cuba’. Unfortunately for Morrison, the media drew a connection between the ukelele and his Hawaii holiday during the ‘Black Summer’ bushfires and the piece failed to improve his public image.
