Exploring Media Literacy with Matt Cosgrove and Eva Amores

Join us for a special Media Literacy Week digital event as we connect with the authors of the Worst Week Ever series, Matt Cosgrove and Eva Amores! 

Students will explore a variety of media literacy examples featured in Matt and Eva's books, and hear Matt and Eva talk about writing and illustrating the series. We will take a closer look at and critically reflect on examples of advertising, social media posts and news reports from the Worst Week Ever series. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q and A with the authors.

About Eva Amores
Eva Amores is an author and designer/photographer who has worked for the Sydney Opera House and the ABC. She was born in the Philippines and moved to Australia in high school. She likes shoes, travelling and more shoes.
 
About Matt Cosgrove
Matt Cosgrove is the best-selling author/illustrator of Macca the Alpaca and the Epic Fail Tales series. He was born and raised in Western Sydney. He likes chocolate, avoiding social interactions and more chocolate.
