This Book Week, join Backyard Buddies author Andy Geppert as he reads from his picture book. Students will learn about the interesting animals living in their backyard, along with everyday ways to care for them, and have the opportunity to ask Andy about being a published author and illustrator.
Backyard Buddies is a delightful mix of humour with accessible factual information for young people. Students will be drawn to the adorable illustrations, visual details and just the right amount of information to hook them into wanting to know more.
As part of this experience, the MoAD Learning team will help students inquire into many simple ways they can support backyard buddies at home, school or in their local community.
